On Monday I am taking part in a discussion as part of Biology Week where we will discuss whether we should bother saving the panda. Looks like fun and I hope to see you there.

  1. Whilst waiting for the GP qualifying to start this morning, I hit the “red button” scrolled onto the news section, and scrolled down to Sci-Tech section. There’s a bit on there from the Science journal saying to meet conservation targets by 2020 they would have to be a spending of $76 billion per year to save endangered species and the protection of habitats?
