Hen Harrier Day weather

Hen-Harrier-Day-300pxLooks like tomorrow could see heavy rain in the Peak District.

Join the thunderclap to highlight the plight of the Hen Harrier in England – only 3 pairs when there should be 300+because of illegal killing by grouse shooting interests.

  1. I’m hoping to dodge the showers / heavy rain, and get to the event in Northumberland. The car is packed, so after some bird ringing in the morning, I will be changing my (by then) damp ringing smock for my smart HH t-shirt, and heading west along the Tyne valley. Hope to see others there.

  2. Unfortunately I am unable to join you but I went and I got a t-shirt printed so will keep pushing the message & my very best wishes are with you all.

Here’s to reading about it here your blog but also via the national media, here’s to plenty of coverage.

As for the weather forecast: at long last clouds gather over those who engage in illegal activity, so it is a ‘bright sunny’ day tomorrow in terms of climate change? With apolgies for the ‘terrible metaphors’!

    Well done Mark et. al.
