Oscar writes: This is another taken of my local Little Owls where I spent some time earlier in the summer. This was taken early one morning after I’d spent a while looking for them without success. I then noticed one of the owlets hunting around a fallen tree trunk on the ground. I lay down and gradually moved closer, hoping the bird wouldn’t fly away. Luckily it didn’t and I was able to get close enough to take some photos of it.
