Looking forward to talking in Oxford

oxfd

I’m looking forward to talking in the Oxford Festival of Nature next week.

I’ll be talking about…guess what?…why we should ban driven grouse shooting and why the residents of Oxford should do some catching up (per capita) with the residents of Cambridge in signing our e-petition to ban driven grouse shooting.

Cambridge 110 signatures

Oxford West and Abingdon 78 signatures

Oxford East 70 signatures

I’ll look forward to seeing some of you there – and the rest of the Festival of Nature looks full of good events.

Recent events on grouse moors in the Yorkshire Dales merely make it more and more obvious that the grouse shooters are not changing their ways at all. More on this later today, but for now, thank you very much to all who have donated to the campaign and to all those who have signed the e-petition to ban driven grouse shooting.

  1. Looking forward to your talk Mark. I’ve reminded my Oxon contacts (yet again and I think they may be fed up with me!) to get on and sign to catch up with Cambridge. Our total count for the six Oxon constituencies is currently 439.
ps your link seems a bit odd, it has an extra k in taklking. but it seems to work.
