In the expensive plush newsletter from the Patrician Party which came through my door recently I noticed that the Patrician Party candidate, Chris Emmett, wants to cut rural crime (not crime apparently, rural crime – why might that be I wonder?).
I read: ‘rural communities have too often been forgotten by the police in the past’ which isn’t quite as bad as calling the police ‘plebs‘ but is heading in that direction.
No doubt David Cameron has a Big Society solution for this.
