In this occasional series of links to other interesting blog posts, here are some blogs that have caught my eye recently.

What did I miss?

Not quite on subject, I’ve just been looking at the twitter feed and this made me smile:- On the BASC comment on the new rules on gull control licences ( Herring and LBB gulls of course) there is an accompanying photograph which is quite clearly a Caspian Gull. None of these oafs should get gull licences if they cannot identify which gulls they are talking about much less shooting them!
I was once shown a shot gull by a keeper ( now ex) I knew reasonably well. It was a Lesser BB but he had thought it was a GBB.
Great idea, Mark. I’ve just caught up with one of Derek Gow’s from last year that I missed at the time.
