#COTF20 my garden birdwatch (3)

That’s another watch done – this time from indoors looking out while drinking tea and eating porridge.

I was expecting to see a Chaffinch around the birdfeeders – but none yet.

The four species I would expect to see today which are so far eluding me, are Chaffinch, Red Kite, Buzzard and Sparrowhawk. I’ll probably do a raptor watch from 1100 or so. I do have some work to do!

I’m writing something and it has to be ‘in’ at the end of March, so there are 15 hours to go. Almost there, I think.

Anyway, I’m writing these blogs today to highlight the opportunity to donate to the conservation of Steppe Eagles – click here to avail yourself of that opportunity please.

Back later, but here’s a Steppe Eagle from Tim Melling to be going on with…
