I will be in a Bittern-rich county for a couple of days. Perhaps I’ll see a Bittern but, if not, I’ll keep looking at this image.

It’s a fine image. We had great views of a bittern at Insh Marshes (of all places) a couple of years ago. It had to practise its skating, but there was no snow at that level.
