Mark: hope the talk goes well tonight!
It would be great if you could mention The Sanctuary and ask folk to object a/ because it affects all of us and b/ because Derby (albeit a rival football city) is only 10 miles down the road!
By chance the Derby rspb group meeting is also this evening – and the Chair will be plugging the urgent need to mobilise on this issue.
The reserve is neither an rspb or wildlife trust one – though both organisations gave it enormous help when it was being se up – so they do have a direct stake in its future…and the future of other LNRs too of course.
‘Think global, act local’ has never been more pertinent!
