Just six constituencies (and now five)

Map2Hello out there!

Does anybody know a friend in any of these six constituencies – the only ones that don’t have a single signature to ban driven grouse shooting at the moment:

  • West Tyrone Sinn Fein Now has a signature
  • Ealing North Labour
  • Battersea Conservative
  • Bexleyheath and Crayford Conservative
  • Barking Labour
  • Aldridge Brownhills Conservative

But that does mean that as I drive down to Devon tomorrow, and then back to Somerset, and then back to Luton Airport to head off to Israel, I’ll only pass through constituencies which have at least one supporter of our campaign.

Which do you think will be the last to gain a supporter?  There is very little form, so it’s tempting to make them six 5/1 co-favourites.  If forced to choose I might go for West Tyrone but what do you think? Or even better, who do you know who lives in any of them and you could get to sign?

And meanwhile, the rest of the country keeps on signing. We passed 7000 signatures this afternoon.  Calder Valley is in the lead with 51 signatures.

Please sign here to ban driven grouse shooting.

  1. So much for it being city folk dictating to the countryside, four of the six hold outs in favour of grouse shooting are London based. It is the rest of the country dragging the city behind them. Odd that West Tyrone is a hold out, that seems anomalous.

    1. Random22 – well it’s a Republican area in Northern Ireland that has practically no grouse shooting – that might explain it.

      1. Yeah, that is what I was thinking. It is a Republican Area with no grouse moor in it. Odd that it hasn’t had a few votes in the pot given that. Talk about your safe vote winning topics.

          1. David – yes I know. But Northern Ireland is a long way from most grouse shooting – and there were few signatures from the 6 counties in the last e-petition. It’s hardly a surprise.
