Oscar writes: This is the same bear that has been in a previous image, but was taken slightly before that one. We had stopped the car at a spot called Oxbow Bend, from where you can look out onto the Snake River. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a head just above the water, followed by two smaller ones, and immediately realised it was a bear and two cubs! They proceeded to swim across the water, before walking across a bit of land and into the forest. As it was September, the trees in the background were all lovely yellow and orange colours.
