I agree entirely, Ralph.
I would add that – whatever your views on whether we should be in or out of the EU – the notion that Johnson, Gove et al will shovel any of the money they claim will be saved from not paying EU subscriptions straight into the NHS is about as credible as a crocodile saying to a wildebeest “Come on in, the water’s lovely, I’ll teach you how to swim”.
Ditto scientific research and support for the natural environment and reducing pollution and workers rights and …….
if all the 350 million they claim they will be saving is plowed into the NHS. then where is all the money for science funding regional development funding and farming subsidies going to come from.
presumably more cuts to welfare payments to people who lost limbs while fighting in the army
