Oscar Dewhurst – Snipe

OD_SuffolkMarApr2016-271

Oscar writes: Another bird that kept me busy while waiting for Bitterns in Suffolk was this Snipe, which was feeding in front of the hide for most of the afternoon. It was an effort to get an unobstructed view though, with reeds always seeming to obscure its face or beak!

  1. Not this time, Oscar. A lovely shot. Not sure what CP would say: there seems to be a problem for him in every photo – including his own! I’m not a photographer, so can’t make those judgements, but I love all those you post on here, and on your website. Though I have to say my favourites are always the British wildlife ones. Creatures and landscapes I might actually see one day…

I notice again that someone has disliked… 2 this time. I wonder if they are just disgruntled because it’s not their image, or because they think there is something ‘wrong’ with it. I won’t dislike them, as I did last time, but I’d like to dislike them…

    1. Daphne – thanks. I always put down any dislikes to my writing as being real ones but any to Oscar’s photos as being mistakes of people with large fingers (it’s easily done).
