The very wonderful SWLA had an interesting ‘raffle’ in the art tent; you buy a ticket for £30 and you are guaranteed an original piece of artwork from those displayed on the wall (but the raffle element determines which one). It’s a good idea.

We did a trip to Poland with Darren a few years ago – a really nice guy. I remember him being entranced seeing a wood warbler’s breath in the early morning chill as it threw everything into its song.
We went to Yellowstone with Darren in June, he is a Speyside guide and very good at being in the right place at the right time!
