January was a good month for this blog – over 20,000 unique users and close to 85,000 page views.
That would have made it either the second or third most-read month of 2017 (after July and August – always good months running up to the grouse shooting season).

Your endeavours writing the interesting and delightfully controversial content at times is clearly appreciated by some of us and probably ‘well watched’ by those who have reason to fear the expose of their moorland management practices?
You act as an inspiration to a younger generation who we need to ensure are well equipped to take on the baton of nature conservation if (or when) the guardians and usual suspects fail or falter.
