I’m home again after a great Hen Harrier weekend. Thank you to BAWC and all the individual organisers for the work they put into making it a success.
Rainham Marshes was hot and sunny.
Parkgate was mild and dry despite the promise of rain – and we saw a ringtail Hen Harrier over the marsh.
I met lots of friends and inspiring individuals – I came away from each event feeling energised.
And the Guardian website published this article which will appear in the paper tomorrow.
I’ll be blogging about it tomorrow morning.
Well done and massive thanks to all involved in the organising and speaking.
Let’s hope the 13th is indeed inglorious – maybe lots of rain in the uplands, for peat’s sake it’s needed 😉
