  1. Mark, people have been so generous. Thanks so much for the support, the team have been really amazed by the response.

  2. So… visit from the security services then? I remember those sort of “break ins” from the Faslane and Holy Loch protests. Obviously rattling the right kind of cages, I’ll drop some cash in the pail for that.

    1. Perhaps not too wide of the mark! I am certain there are many interests in Scotland who would wish to make life difficult for ‘Onekind’. My cash is already in the ‘pail’ Random, I hope that everyone rallies around. I smell a huge rat here!

      1. The real giveaway that this wasn’t the usual bunch of chances, is that they busted in through barred windows. If it had been genuine criminals, based on what they took, then it would have been a front door job, and barred windows would have been enough to turn them away. Most break ins are through points of weakness, done on basis of opportunity, and busting in through something like barred windows is only for jobs that have been commissioned or are targetting something valuable enough to make it worth the noise, risk, and time. A bunch of office equipment and petty cash does not qualify for the latter, which leaves only a commissioned job.

The scary part, that you get from the Onekind email, is that they also took the cheque list. Onekind donors ought to take extra care in the coming weeks and months themselves. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Onekind workers found themselves followed home or “accosted” in the street at some point too. I hope they remember the golden rule of any campaigning that gets the attention of Security Services, and that is to never go anywhere alone. In pairs, at minimum, for the next few months.

  3. Looks like some folk are are becoming desperate to prevent the inconvenient truth being revealed by Onekind.

However I won’t be contributing due Onekinds naive attitude to a necessary deer cull in Sutherland.
