Election watch (13)

I answered every question on this site about my beliefs and found that I was:

88% in agreement with the Greens

86% in agreement with the LibDems

83% in agreement with Labour

35% in agreement with Conservatives

29% in agreement with Brexit

No surprises there then. But a bit of a relief!

I thought it was quite fun and probably quite accurate. It passed a rail journey and I also noticed that nothing much changed after I had answered some of the questions in each category (so you could, probably, stop half way through to completion and not miss too much – but answer some questiosn from every category).

  1. As you say, quite fun to do, but it’s striking how few environmental questions there were and of the 7 categorised as such 2 were really animal welfare/cruelty issues (research on animals and hunting) and 1 was economic/social (incentives for companies to relocate) rather than environmental.

Only 2 questions obliquely related to climate breakdown and no questions at all about biodiversity.

Doing the quiz after watching yesterday’s Channel 4 debate on Climate Change – which I thought really quite encouraging, no doubt helped by the absence of Johnson and Farage – the questions seem to lack ambition.
