It’s difficult to decide what to spend my royalties on …
…but I’m not complaining at all. Getting money for work done years ago, particularly quite pleasant work, is great. fighting for birds still sells a few copies even though it was published in 2012.

Whilst none of us should be telling you what to spend the money on, That’s entirely your decision, if it were me I might be spending it on books about some natural history subject I’m interested in but wish or need to know more. Then again you could spend it on something entirely pleasurable like concert tickets, wine or good food or perhaps give it to a good cause like Wild Justice.

Whatever you decide to spend it on you worked for it and deserve it unlike some armchair critics who are funded to create fake news and spin about issues you and others challenge the veracity and at times the legality of. All of us need to keep on “Fighting for birds” they and our declining wildlife needs you as a champion.
