This raspberry was delicious but I think the Blackbirds are getting more of them than I am from the few that appear in our garden. Still I don’t begrudge them – much!
It looks like our garden will provide plenty of blackberry and apple tarts and crumbles though. Although there is quite a long way to go.

they do love a raspberry
Had to chase a blackbird off the gooseberries at the weekend so that I could pick some. It was very reluctant to move,sitting on the fence, waiting for me to leave. Trouble is the birds do not seem to subscribe to the permaculture ethic of fair shares 🙂
