What they say 10:

Bob Elliot, Head of Investigations at the RSPB, is the latest to be interviewed ahead of Hen Harrier Day.  His interview is available to hear on the BAWC soundcloud

‘Without doubt there is widespread illegal persecution of Hen Harriers’

‘If someone’s intent on killing them, then the chances of us being in the right place at the right time are extremely small’

‘There are one or two cases, coming to court fairly soon, involving Hen Harriers’

‘The police can’t possibly cover the whole of the uplands’

‘Now we are at this pivotal point where we need to focus our attention on upland grouse and lowland pheasants’

‘What will save Hen Harriers is if people turn against those people who kill them’

‘Hen Harriers are an amazing species’
