This e-petition is protesting about the back-door privatisation of our forests with Fineshade as an example.
It’s not really worded in the way I would have worded it, and I’m not sure that it is aimed at the correct government department either, but the gist is right and I have signed it with pleasure. Maybe you could too?

Leave our forests alone, you have done enough damage.
The Tory way…
Step one: Create a distraction (badger cull)
Step two: Create two opposing factions (divide and conquer)
Step three: Shaft both factions (rush through fracking permission on private land/sneak through a back-door privatisation of woodlands)
What does the future hold if this is the way we operate? How do you undo the damage done by fracking and privatising woodlands? These are permanent consequences for short term/individually felt financial gain..when are we going to think long term and see the bigger picture?
Time to put people and the environment first over profit.
