63000 seems to be slow going. The wheels haven’t come off, but maybe lost a bit of traction.
To many, well to most really, this won’t seem to be the biggest problem in the world at the moment. But it matters to us right? So we’ve got to push it with friends that may be getting just a bit fed up with us banging on about it right? But we all only need that one more signature right?
We’ll get to 63k tomorrow no probs, but can we get to 65k by Sunday eve?

    Who ya gonna call……?

    1. Paul – thank you for your passion. There is a lot of stuff coming up in August so I am still very hopeful, though not confident, that 100,000 signatures is possible by 20 September. July has been a fantastic month for this petition – August will have to be even better.

  2. The silent slaughter of many of our iconic raptors is utterly disgraceful. Rich powerful landlords who own huge tracks of the British Countryside and are in a position to protect these birds stand by and do nothing and the slaughter continues. NO government subsidy should be paid to any landowner who does not have a viable breeding raptor population. If I were a landowner I would reward my gamekeepers for each and every raptor on the estate and more for a successful breeding pair. Money talks.

  3. There are many more ways this upland habitat can be used for supporting Scottish Wildlife. Shooting is not one of them…….. Get rid of this arrogance and pomposity of using Scotland’s Highlands for the elite to promenade and pontificate on their class status. We do not want this in Scotland as that is not our way, and we want our wildlife back.
