Wuthering Moors 71

Our lawyers at Leigh Day are in regular contact with Natural England following our successful challenge of the legality of the Walshaw Moor Habitats Regulations Assessment (see here and here).

We understand that any new HRA will be informed by ‘‘the peat depth survey that Natural England is seeking to carry out’ .

Well done Bob Berzins for doing his own survey back in February!

  1. Just the picture says it all..bleak, monotonous ‘habitat’ reminiscent of what you get hundreds of miles above the arctic circle where nothing can actually grow more than a few inches in height. How can any rational person look at that and say it’s beautiful or great for wildlife..next to nothing there for anything beyond grouse.
