Farcical Villiers visit to flood-stricken Calder Valley

I like the Upper Calder Valley Plain Speaker – have a look at what they write about the DEFRA Secretary of State’s (now former Secretary of State’s) visit to flood-stricken Hebden Bridge – click here

  2. I’ve seen Ban the Burn campaigners being derided and dismissed in statements by the other side – local people directly affected by flooding. Ironic at how often they like to portray conservation organisations as not listening or caring about local communities without providing evidence of that, while openly sneering at people who think keeping their home dry is more important than big grouse bags. BTB deserve far more attention in the mainstream media.
