But.. the CFC replacements are having an even worse effect on global warming. Efforts to replace CFCs have produced more greenhouse gases than the Kyoto agreement was meant to reduce.
Ozone depletion and global warming are separate issues. Both are important. Do you have any references for what you say?
Well it’s not much of a reference but this is where I read it http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/world/smart-gases-boost-global-warming/story-fnb64oi6-1226475215129 – I find the 20% figure hard to believe though as I am sure I’ve read of more than five factors recently that are boosting global warming by similar amounts.
You might be able to dog out the study they refer to.
