Happy Easter, Mark. I’ve never seen Pasque Flowers, but they look gorgeous.
Phil – make sure you see some one day! They are, for me, the perfect plant: easy to identify, very beautiful and with the added value of being quite rare and localised too.
A lovely flower and can be tricky to grow. Fear the excessive wet weather may have seen off a few. Happy Easter!
Happy Easter! Not a flower observation, but a birdie one – our Easter is jollied-up by a blackbird mimicking a widgeon! Wonder where he spent the winter? Possibly at the coast only 3 miles down the road? Or further afield? Makes us laugh every time he does it (which is about every 5 minutes). Last year we had curlew imitations!
