Marvellous! Ralph Underhill for Prime Minister.
Who would we all want to see in the Cabinet I wonder?
Then after abolishing extravagences and excesses how many of the 850 and 650 do we really actually need? Civil service review to follow?
£3bn for the palace of westminster is not affordable – they should bulldoze it imo and start again
Offer a lease on open market (plenty of foreign investors will see opportunities) & then relocate business to somewhere more afordable out of the capital with travel lodges nearby?
Milton Keynes! Ideal!
Not too sure about the uncomfortable seats. I’d rather we got our money’s worth by them showing up at more debates and doing their jobs, but it’s a little bit unfair to then expect them to get sore behinds for doing so!
Carol – you sound a very fair person!
