Henry was on Salisbury Plain last week – without me! I missed him but it looks like he was having a good time risking life and limb on the firing ranges. Still, he’s used to dodging bullets.

That’s a bit close to a red flag zone. I know Salisbury Plain bye-laws don’t apply to Hen Harriers but I would worry as to how accurate our soldiers are on occasions.

Hi Bob. Just to allay any fears, the MOD knew Henry was on site and he was accompanied by two experienced Salisbury Plain raptor workers at all times! Still, I have to say we kept our ears open for any stray shells whizzing over – but it was far quieter than a Yorkshire National Park in August, if you get my drift…
