Tomorrow

I’m doing a couple of things in Norfolk tomorrow.

cache_34633480First the Norfolk Bird Fair at Mannington Hall, north of Norwich. I’ll be giving a talk at 1345 which will encompass Passenger Pigeons and Hen Harriers.

Looks like it will be a fun event with lots of stands. Maybe Songbird Survival will be able to tell us all which studies of predator prey interactions they regard as flawed and whether this includes the one they funded?

After limbering up at the Norfolk Bird Fair I’m in Norwich in the evening for a ‘debate’ with Jake Fiennes and Robin Page (chaired by Mark Cocker) on raptors. It’s called the ‘Tooth and Claw’ debate so there may be some blood on the floor at the end of it – probably mine.

See you there? If so, come up and say hello.

  1. I’ll see you for the evening do Mark. Maybe there’ll be a contribution from the Peregrines living about 250 feet above the debate venue…

  2. Hi Mark

We now see comments but they are all the same and in computer gibberish: ‘the first argument is expected to be a valid callback’. Well, well, there you go.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow. I would put money on you to hold your own. I am in Norfolk too but can’t get to Manningtree or Norwich which I am very sorry about. Glad to see (in a sorry kind of way) the theft of marsh harrier eggs from a site at Guist getting good, I would say , coverage in the redoubtable Eastern Daily Press today.
