I told Henry that the SLE boss, Doug MacAdam, was said to be a great supporter of Hen Harriers. Henry seemed a bit sceptical and wished he could have asked Doug about the lack of Hen Harriers on Scottish grouse moors.

Oh come on! The lack of harriers on driven grouse moors is because driven grouse moors are the very best place for hen harriers. It makes perfect sense (Where’s that Lagopus delusion index again?).
