Henry is pretty broad-minded and interested in quite a lot of things.
Whilst in Scotland he met the expert on land ownership, Andy Wightman. Andy writes a blog, and has published several books including The Poor had no Lawyers.
Andy is an expert on land tenure and land reform – and also on what is happening in the uplands of Scotland. It made for an interesting and enjoyable evening.
The poor Hen Harriers have no lawyers either – that’s why we must speak out for them.
#HaveYouSeenHenry? He’s been to lots of places in Scotland over the last few days.
I don’t know where Henry is now, but I’m back in Northamptonshire after a great holiday and ‘Henry tour’ in Scotland. I’ll be able to write some more substantial blogs now I am back in front of a PC rather than tapping away on my phone. Lots to blog about…

Very illuminating book that anyone interested in land reform, feudalism and inequality (or anyone just interested in how Scotland’s land got divvied up) should read. Though it should come with a health warning about how this book will fill you full of seething righteous indignation which requires you to put it down at regular intervals to calm down. I believe Mr Wightman is also a list (PR) candidate for the 2016 Holyrood elections for the Scottish Green party.
Hen Harriers do have at least one lawyer who speaks up for them – me! We do have some redeeming qualities.
Wearing my BAWC badge with pride in the office today as I do every day.
Giles – hooray! Take a bow!
