Also done, a few weeks back, and shared, but I’m surprised the whole microbead issue hasn’t had more publicity… they are a ridiculously unnecessary thing. I’m also surprised that World Oceans Day hasn’t had more publicity. I’ve posted about it on my own blog, and as part of #30DaysWild for the Wildlife Trusts. Thanks for putting it on yours, Mark – guaranteed to wake up a few folks!
This is the first time I have become aware of this issue – it’s really quite shocking. I have to admit that our household is probably responsible for flushing more than our fair share of microbeads down the drain – shame on us. Something that will have to be addressed forthwith.
