How depressingly predictable.
Undoubtedly the worst Defra Minister I can think of, and arguably one of the most incompetent Govt Ministers in living history.

You really need to blame this on John Swift, despite being ostensibly in favour of a lead ban he completely scuppered the recommendations he put forward on behalf of the group by failing to put forward arguments based in good scientific evidence, having already forced members of the group to walk away by ignoring perfectly valid input.
As a former head of BASC are you surprised by his actions? Why not tell him?
