Here are some more images of the world’s favourite Hen Harrier at the Bird Fair fraternising with a whole bunch of suspected eco-zealots.
Wildsounds and author Prof Tim Birkhead (review of The Most Perfect Thing here). Thanks to Duncan and team for some great book signings during the Bird Fair.
Eco-zealots’ favourite magazine? Here Henry thanks Heather from Birdwatch for the great coverage of Henry’s problems in the magazine and for sending Mark Avery money every month for the Political Birder column.
Massively eco-zealous friends at Birding for All.
The Wildlife Trusts – zealous about ecology – but not over-zealous, I think.
Bob Elliot (the star of Countryfile) sits at Henry’s feet – that’s a bit eco-zealous of him. And thanks to Stuart Housden for his part in the Q&A on grouse shooting.
The LACS stand was near the somewhat deserted Hawk And Owl Trust stand at the Bird Fair and was very busy each time I passed by. Thanks to them for all their support with the e-petition to ban driven grouse shooting which has 116,000 eco-zealot signatures, and counting, and is heading towards a debate in parliament (please participate in Firm Briefing).
The eco-zealous Rare Bird Alert‘s Brian Egan was signing people up at the Bird Fair. Thanks Brian – you are a star!
More Bird Fair photos tomorrow – but first a big thanks to Lisa who runs the Authors’ Forum marquee and who is always lovely to all of us.
And if there are any eco-zealots out there who have not yet signed the e-petition to ban driven grouse shooting then you have four weeks to do it – why not sign now please?

Us Eco-zealots at Birding For All always love to see a Hen Harrier and Henry is the biggest of them all, and is always welcome with us.
We appear to be out of the woods (for the time being at least) in terms of readjustments.
