Ah, Theresa May’s ill-informed rant that the UK will be making EU policy right up until the UK leaves. Presumably followed by an “Aye, right” from the rest of the EU. And then she got upset because a French politician said he intended to pursue policies that would remove UK customs and border security equipment and personnel from Calais and make them set it up back in Dover again. How can she be upset about another country taking back its sovereignty? She said that there was a treaty and the French couldn’t pull out of it; has there ever been a government that was just such a self parody that it was beyond satirising?
And Wallonia’s stance on CETA points to who are holding the cards in the negotiations.
And, while were at it, Nissan’s forthcoming decision on Qashqai production in Sunderland will be interesting!
And, people think the Tories are unimpeachable! TM is not rushing to the polls I note!!
This is all very true and all because the Little Englanders won the poll. When it is all over the public will hopefully realise they were lied to and conned. Then Boris, Farage and their ilk will all be hoisted on street corners with a metaphorical pole up the jacksy or they should be.
