Last summer I was an old green person on a panel of young green people at the WOMAD festival. I was supposed to be mentoring the smiling young man called Josh pictured above but he didn’t need much mentoring.
Josh had come to WOMAD from an Action for Conservation Summer Camp and if you are in the age range 12-16 you can apply (before end of March) for that opportunity again this year.
There are two camps, both at the National Trust’s Stackpole reserve in Pembrokeshire; one 22nd – 26th July and the other 31st July – 4th August. These are all-inclusive residential conservation adventures and are free. They sound like great opportunities to me.
