Behind the Binoculars is now out in paperback – even better value.
Funnily enough, a second volume of interviews, Behind More Binoculars, is also approaching publication. More on that later.

It was in a natural history display in Blackwells, Oxford on Wednesday.
Lyn – good to hear! Gathering dust…?
No, it was in a lovely display in the Norrington Room along with other books, such as the Spring Anthology by Melissa Harrison, gifts and toys. Unfortunately I didn’t have a camera with me and, even though I picked it up, I didn’t register that it was in paperback.
Lyn – ahhh! The Nrrington room! I remember going to Blackwells for the first time and wondering what all the fuss was about until the panoramic vista of the Norrington Room opened up before me.
Too soon for part two, I’m still struggling to to get signatures against each character in the first!
And anyway I haven’t had my interview yet!
Richard – I’m missing a few signatures too. And of course you are on the list – it’s quite a long list…
“Message from Martha” is on order from Ilkley Library. Although, on their shelves, they have categorised “Inglorious” as ‘Sport’ not ‘Natural History’. Don’t forget to claim your Library royalties, Mark!
I got Inglorious and Fighting for Birds from a Xmas Waterstone voucher and loved them both. The latter gave a very good insight into conservation realities and obviously the former is THE reference for DGS and the fight against it. Still to read MFM yet, looking forward to it. Any more books planned?
