When I went to the local farmers’ market this morning, after a walk at Stanwick Lakes, I learned of this proposed new development (ref 17/01328/ful East Northants District Council) just to the east of the A6 near Rushden.
I’ll be looking at this over the weekend – I think objections (or messages of support, of course) have to be lodged by 3 October which is imminent (although the East Northants District Council website is not at all clear on this).

Is Peter Bone’s campaign merely a smoke screen?
He is talking about animal welfare , a national and EU wide issue but unfortunately , as he surely knows this will not be relevant when planning is decided.
Will the conservative councillors of East Northants really vote against this application put forward by an end in influential farmer ? I have my doubts.
