  1. Perhaps the minister is still wading through the reading list you have provided Mark! Then on the other hand perhaps she hasn’t taken her head out of the sand yet!

  2. So frustrating that this petition is not taking off. I understand that people may think they have signed before, but it’s up to us to put them right. This government will jump at any chance to say that there is no longer any interest in a ban.
If you don’t like asking people again, then put a request note in your Christmas cards.
Come to think of it, a leaflet might be good. Want another donation Mark?

    1. Paul – you’re a zealot that’s what you are! I like zealots.

A few of us are having a think. We’ll get back to you.

      Thanks.

    2. A problem with this petition is the timing. After Birdfair, before The Inglorious 12th (HH Day) and the killing season soon over, there’s nothing to really pin it to. The cards from the first Rainham HHD were great, I distributed some at Countryfile Live and left them in bird hides etc. It’s going to be a struggle to get to 100,000. But, Keeeep Signing!

  3. Think leaflets at local RSPB reserves that could be given to visitors would mean targeting concerned people and seem a good idea.

  4. Hen Harrier / illegal raptor persecution / wildlife crime cards for sending over the silly season – yep put me down for a batch please. Better cause than many and sending an important message, has to be good?

Landscape cards folded perhaps with nasty images on one side and Henry with pal percy Peregrine on t’other flying over an upland moor with mountain hares running free?

  5. Mark, there is a slightly eccentric closed Facebook group that “supports Chris Packham”, it has 19,000 members. I have shared some of your blogs there and urged them all to sign. Some certainy have.
