It’s very nice to have been nominated, for the second year, for The Great Outdoors Awards 2018. Woohoo! as they say.
I’m in the Campaigner of the Year category – which is recognition enough. Thank you.
Also in the same category is Chris Packham so you’d be bonkers to vote for me instead of him. So do vote for the amazing Chris Packham.

Done. Anything you say Mark. I guess that Saturday was his ‘Geldorf’ moment.
Note to self. Never comment when you are in a hurry. That last one sounded decidedly odd. Bit sarkey, but hope you know what I meant.
x on the sheet sir 🙂
Packham’s Parliament including all his Ministers deserve our votes, let’s make them count where they need to be heard. Let’s keep the momentum going and the profile of public disquiet known amongst those reputed to represent democracy and our voices in the palatial establishment clique 😉
It is good to see you recognised by the walking/backpacking world as one of their top campaigners. I think it shows how successfully the campaign to ban DGS is broadening support. Your campaigning is having such an impact – whether that is launching legal challenges against brood meddling and the dumped wuthering moors management plan and now we see Labour begin to embrace DGS reviews.
Well done Mark and Chris. Keep up your amazing work!
Owen – thanks. It’s very much a team effort – and so many people are part of the team.
