There’s lot happening! 1,000s of volunteers and staff from the nature conservation NGOs (Wildlife Trust, National Trust, RSPB, the list goes on) are taking advantage of the good weather coppicing, tree planting, managing scrub, etc., etc..
Why doesn’t it get a higher profile, is it because for those doing this work it is ‘the day job’ or they don’t have time to write about what they do, or it’s not of interest, or it’s not ‘sexy’, or…?
Anyway – back to the mowing.
How about a blog from yourself, Mr Packham or Ms Tingay, entitled “[edited by Mark]”?
Wevers – Happy New Year. Don’t you mean Chris Packham CBE (for services to nature conservation) and Ruth Tingay (Birdwatch Conservation Hero of 2018)? I’ll ask them and think about it. Thanks for your suggestion.
No, I mean Mr Packham and Ms Tingay. Unless you intend to refer to me by a) my actual name (which isn’t “Wevers”), and b) using my decorations. Not sure why you [edited by Mark]?
I should also have wished you a happy new year too, Dr Avery.
