Pasqueflowers at Barnack at Easter

Sometimes the Easter break comes at the right time for Pasqueflowers, and sometimes the weather is perfect. This is one such year.

Make the most of the glorious weather this Bank Holiday weekend.

Mostly these county flowers of Cambridgeshire are fenced in but occasionally one does a runner, like the one below, and can be found outside the fence protecting them.

There were several buttterfly species too – including an attractive Green Hairstreak.

  1. Did exactly the same on the Cotswolds today. The only difference is that the flowers don’t have to get fenced in, they are quite tame down here. No green hairstreak despite quite a long search.
