Therese Coffey has had a promotion (and a payrise) but apparently has no responsibilities at all according to the Defra website this morning.
Whereas new Parliamentary Under Secretary Zac Goldsmith seems to be doing quite a lot, and in two departments;
It would be nice if she kept those responsibilities. However I don’t think anyone would notice the change!
I understand Zac Goldsmith has expressed reasonable environmental views in the past. So let’s hope these materialise. However the proof of the pudding ….etc.
As for Ms Coffey let’s hope her no responsibilities stays that way for probably the worst wildlife minister we have had for very many years.
