The PEA (People. Event. Achievement) awards event where I had yummy vegetarian food has now posted the winners of the various categories.
The World Land Trust table had a very good evening.
There was quite a lot of focus on plastic use – reducing it of course. Things really have changed a lot in the last couple of years.
And to recognise that, the World Land Trust Patron, David Attenborough, and the BBC Natural History Unit were awarded the Chatham House award this week.
Have you noticed how things coming through your letterbox are now in compostable wrappers or good old paper? There has been quite a change and this is a good example of how change has happened through consumer pressure, media publicity and businesses doing the right thing.
It’s a small thing, but it’s a good small thing.
