Badgers

Today Wild Justice is attempting to overturn the refusal of permission for judicial review of Natural England’s licensing of Badger culls. It’s a remote hearing and we’ll be watching by video-link (not available to the general public I’m afraid).

The quickest way to hear what happened will be to sign up to the Wild Justice free newsletter as, whatever happens, we’ll be sending one out today – click here.

And our petition calling for an end to Badger shooting keeps moving forward – I’m expecting an acceleration of pace over the next few days but already it has passed 66,000 signatures so it is almost two thirds of the way towards 100,000 signatures and a parliamentary debate – click here.

  1. All the very best of luck to Wild Justice in this appeal,. Wild Justice does really great work, in trying to combat the Governments attitude to nature and that is, if it gets in the way then it is either killed or bulldozed. Eg badgers and HS2. There is no compromise from them.

  2. Good luck, Mark, Ruth and Chris – and thanks for all your efforts to put an end to cruelty perpetrated on a supposedly protected native species.
