Over the Christmas/New Year period there is less news around and I like to have a break too.
So if you’ve been wondering whether to write a guest blog for this site then now’s your chance.
This blog is called ‘Standing up for Nature’ and anything well-written and non-libellous that fits into that category would be welcome.
Send the text you’d like published (not a draft) as a Word document to [email protected] with a few words about the author and (as an attachment, not embedded in the text) an image of the author and any images you would like to include in the text (images should be your own or you need to tell me that you have permission to use them, and should be .jpg or .png files (please)).
Blogs can be short or long – your choice. And I’ll be pretty relaxed about quite how precisely relevant they are to nature conservation since it is Christmas.
Blogs received before 24th December stand the best chance of publication in good slots in the schedule! Previous guest bloggers will be very welcome, but so will new faces and new voices. No-one is too old and only a few people are too young to write a guest blog for this site about what they think about nature.
Poems, song lyics and prose all welcome – I suppose you could write a very short play too!
Artwork, cartoons etc also welcome. Also photographs – but with words attached please.
There are some things I intend to publish in that period myself – reviews of the year, a few book reviews and thoughts for the future, but if I get offers from you then there is plenty of space.
