There really doesn’t seem to be much happening in the world of nature conservation today but I was very pleased to see the excellent Trees for Life reach and pass their fundraising target for this legal challenge against Nature Scotland.

Yes that is very pleasing, very well done Trees for Life. It just shows how people and the general public, these days are increasingly not prepared to put up with the abuse of nature and wildlife by self interested groups that still retain Victorian attitudes. The climate is changing, not just our weather but as I say people are no longer willing to tolerate the abuse of animals and our wildlife. It is high time the politicians, especially those Tories at Westminster, woke up to this fact.
By the way I note Kier Stammer is sending a senior front bench person to Mr Biden inauguration where as so far Johnson is sending no one. Tells a storey!!
