Sunday’s snow has lingered but it will soon be gone as it is raining now. But the snow always brings a few more birds into our garden although the Song Thrush and Redwing seen today were next door, not chez nous. I doubt that either will be around at the weekend for the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch.
Today also brought a pair of Coal Tits, two male Blackcaps, Long-tailed Tits as well as Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Robin, Dunnock, Blackbird, Blue Tit, Collared Dove, Wood Pigeon, House Sparrows and more.
I think there were Red Fox prints in the snow on Monday morning too.

Brought us even more Siskins, Goldfinches, Chaffinches and Redpolls and a stunning male Brambling who has not been seen since, plus our only Starling of the winter in the garden.
