Spot on as usual with this cartoon. I am just amazed how low the BBC has sunk over recent years. Their programmes, with a very few exceptions, are either full of “gloom and doom”, or “cooking programmes till they come out of one’s ears”, generally of a poor standard and low grade and, as the cartoon indicates, there is a distinct political bias towards the Tories. “How the mighty have fallen” compared to back in the 1980s/ 90s with programmes like Yes Minister.
I very rarely watch or listen to the BBC these days preferring other channels even with the awful adverts.

Err…
How pathetic have these cartoons become.
That was a very simple politically targetted cartoon (sorry if I offend the scriber of the cartoon).
There’s still BBC4 and BBC 2 and even BBC1 when it’s doing nature.
In Scotland news is nothing more than unionist state propaganda. It is quite amusing to see how BBC Wales treats identical themed stories fairly compared to the open bias of BBC Scotland, because so far they don’t see Welsh Independence as a threat.
TalkingUpScotland reports on this bias regularly. Complaints fall on deaf ears.
I recommend “Can’t get you out of my head ” documentaries by Adam Curtis on BBC 3 and I player
Great cartoon but I would say that the BBC is a state organ rather than connected to any particular party.
‘We couldn’t believe it when the BBC reversed footage on the Six O’Clock News to suggest the miners had attacked the police, and that the police had simply retaliated. [Despite an Independent Police Complaints Commission report in 2015 confirming the reversal, the BBC has never officially accepted this.]’

Even something as non-partisan as women’s violence was asked to be taken down. Even when something good slips through they backtrack. This man refused.

This is about as illustrative as it gets.
